Don was born and raised in Bellerose in the borough of Queens in New York. He attended SUNY Oneonta where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics. He relocated to Orange County in 1997.
 
Don came to New York Life in the spring of 2006, after a successful run as the owner of a local Sports Complex that he built from the ground up.  And along the way has collected numerous awards including the Life All Star and Career Success. Don was promoted to partner in April 2009 and Senior Partner in 2012.
 
Don is an active member of the community; coaching baseball, soccer, and basketball. He also volunteers for a variety of local charities and service organizations. And he has been the chairman of The Hudson Valley General Offices Charity Golf Outing the past two years, to help raise funds for the area youths. Don feels that his passion for assisting others has lead to both his personal and professional growth.
 
Don and his wife Jayme reside in Cornwall on Hudson, NY with their 3 children.

 

Tiffany L. Jones

Tiffany was born and raised in Huntington, NY. She attended Walt Whitman High School in Huntington Station, NY. While in middle school Tiffany grew to love and was great at Track & Field and was asked to join the high school varsity Track & Field team in the 8th grade. While in Walt Whitman H.S Tiffany realized she was a natural born leader, especially when it comes to helping people. Tiffany graduated from Virginia State University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science.

After Tiffany graduated college she returned home, and a year later joined New York Life Long Island in September of 2012.  Since then she has become a great asset to her community and other agents. She has gotten numerous awards such as Career Success Awards, New Org Agent of the month, Life Allstars Awards and qualified for Executive Council in 2014 and 2015.

Tiffany relocated to New Windsor to join the Hudson Valley General Office in 2016. Tiffany loves spending time with her friends and family and enjoys watching the Los Angeles Lakers and Track & Field meets. Tiffany also likes to travel to Trinidad & Tobago, Saint Martin, Bahamas, and Canada.

Tasha began her career with New York Life in 2012 in the Arizona General Office, where she was a new business and contracting and licensing expert and helped develop a team that was fully cross-trained in both functions.  In 2017, Tasha transferred to the Nebraska GO and while there, she also had the opportunity to help train the staff in the Chicago North Shore GO. In January 2018, Tasha was accepted into the Associate Training Program in the Fullerton GO where she has had the opportunity to fill in as a temporary service leader within the Orange Coast, Alaska and Greater San Francisco GOs.

Tasha graduated from Kansas State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in public health nutrition. She has also earned the FLMI, AIAA, ACS, and AIRC designations from LOMA.  Prior to joining New York Life, Tasha’s work experience included management roles with a property and casualty insurance company and a retail store.

 In her free time, she and her husband John enjoy photography, hiking, camping and travelling with their three dogs.

 

 

Gerard Mora

Gerard is happy to become a part of the Hudson Valley General Office and their team. Gerard lives in Poughkeepsie NY and has lived in the Hudson Valley area the majority of his life. Gerard graduated from Penn State University in 2002 with a Bachelors degree in Business. 

 Gerard started his career in the Financial Services Business with AXA Advisors in 2003 as an agent. He was promoted to Vice President in 2006 and managed a team of agents responsible for recruiting and development of his team. In 2007 he hurt his knee and decided to take a compliance role at Gilman and Ciocia in Poughkeepsie NY. At Gilman and Ciocia he worked his way up to Assistant Chief Compliance Officer and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm's compliance program. After Gilman and Ciocia was purchased by National Securities, Gerard was moved to a Regional Supervisor role and directly supervised the agents that were assigned to him. In September of 2016 Gerard started working with New York Life in the Home Office in Sleepy Hollow NY in the complaint review unit.

Gerard enjoys basketball, Jet Skiing, Motorcycling and most sports. He is married to his wonderful wife Megan for three years and has a beautiful cat Madison.
